Nevis Takes Centre Stage in Lifetime’s ‘Paradise with You’ Starring Taye Diggs

Nevis is set to gain international exposure as the filming location for Lifetime’s upcoming romantic drama, Terry McMillan Presents: Paradise with You, starring Taye Diggs, Heather Hemmens and Cynthia Bailey.

The film, which premieres on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, brings the Caribbean island to television audiences through a production that highlights its natural scenery and growing appeal as a filming destination.

PEOPLE magazine recently unveiled an exclusive first look at the film’s trailer, generating attention ahead of its television debut.

Nevis Showcased to International Audiences

Filmed on location in Nevis, Paradise with You places the island’s distinctive landscapes and tropical surroundings in the spotlight.

The production offers an opportunity to introduce Nevis to viewers who may be unfamiliar with the destination, potentially generating interest beyond traditional tourism marketing.

For the island, the film also represents another opportunity to establish its presence within the international entertainment industry.

Strengthening Nevis’ Film Industry

The Nevis Film Commission has welcomed the production as a positive development in its efforts to position the island as a boutique destination for international filmmaking.

Beyond the visibility associated with a major television release, productions of this nature can create economic opportunities for local businesses, service providers and creative professionals.

Attracting international film projects also supports broader efforts to diversify the island’s tourism offerings and develop its creative economy.

The commission views projects such as Paradise with You as important examples of Nevis’ potential to accommodate international productions while showcasing the destination’s unique character.

A Growing Opportunity for Screen Tourism

The upcoming premiere also highlights the relationship between film production and destination marketing.

As Caribbean destinations explore opportunities within the global film and television industry, productions filmed on location can provide international exposure while encouraging audiences to discover the places featured on screen.

For Nevis, Paradise with You offers another opportunity to strengthen its visibility as both a tourism destination and an emerging location for international productions.

Terry McMillan Presents: Paradise with You premieres Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
