The November 13 release will feature collaborations with Konshens, Romain Virgo and Nadia Batson as V’ghn explores a blend of Soca, Dancehall and Reggae.
Grenadian Soca artiste V’ghn is preparing to release his second studio album, Dream Boy, on November 13, bringing together 21 tracks that reflect his evolving musical direction and growing connections across the Caribbean music industry.
The upcoming project features collaborations with several established regional performers, including Jamaican Dancehall artiste Konshens, Reggae singer Romain Virgo and Trinidadian Soca star Nadia Batson.
Originally expected in August, the album will now arrive in November, following a year that has seen V’ghn expand his presence through new music and international performances.
Dream Boy will bring together influences from Soca, Dancehall and Reggae, showcasing V’ghn’s versatility while maintaining his connection to Grenada’s musical identity.
Among the album’s featured collaborations are “Too Rude” with Konshens, “Taken For Granted” with Romain Virgo and “Priority” featuring Nadia Batson.
The project is led by “Friends,” a single produced by Jamaican Dancehall producer Week.day that has been gaining traction ahead of the album’s release.
The 21-track collection will also include previously released material and alternative recordings, giving listeners a combination of familiar favourites and new music.
V’ghn, whose given name is Jevaughn John, will include his 2026 release “Jabaholic” on the album, along with a separate version recorded during a visit to BBC Radio 1Xtra in London.
During that same visit, the Grenadian performer recorded a live version of his popular track “Jab Decisions” for Spotify’s Carnival Sounds Live series.
The initiative featured Caribbean performers as part of Spotify’s activities commemorating the 60th anniversary of Notting Hill Carnival, providing an international platform for artistes connected to Caribbean Carnival music.
V’ghn’s participation placed Grenadian Soca within a wider celebration of Caribbean musical expression and Carnival culture.
The announcement of Dream Boy marks another milestone for V’ghn as he builds on the success of songs such as “Jab Decisions” and continues developing his sound.
By collaborating with performers from Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago, the Grenadian artiste is extending his musical reach while contributing to the exchange of sounds and creative influences across the region.
With its November 13 release approaching, Dream Boy will offer listeners a closer look at the next chapter of V’ghn’s career and his artistic direction beyond his established Soca catalogue.
