Stacey Liburd Appointed CEO of Grenada Tourism Authority

The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) proudly announces the appointment of Mrs Stacey A. Liburd as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 15 June 2025. A seasoned tourism and destination marketing expert, Mrs Liburd brings over 15 years of experience in tourism leadership, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable travel development across the Caribbean.

Before joining the GTA, Mrs Liburd served as Director of Tourism at the Anguilla Tourist Board, where she led successful destination marketing campaigns, boosted international airlift, and advanced initiatives in sustainable tourism. Her work includes strategic market expansion, brand development, aviation route partnerships, and high-profile event execution at leading global travel trade shows such as Virtuoso Travel Week, ILTM Cannes, and IMEX Americas.

In addition to her public sector leadership, Mrs Liburd has held senior roles in private-sector hospitality, where she developed and launched luxury tourism marketing campaigns and forged partnerships with top-tier international travel networks and consortia.

Commenting on her new appointment, Mrs Liburd stated, “I am deeply honoured to accept the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority. Chairman of the Grenada Tourism Authority, Mr Randall Dolland, welcomed Mrs Liburd’s appointment noting, “Stacey Liburd brings a wealth of knowledge and a strategic mindset that is essential to the continued growth and evolution of Grenada’s tourism industry. Her regional eadership experience and marketing expertise align perfectly with our goals of strengthening destination visibility, forging impactful partnerships, and enhancing the visitor experience.”

Ms Roach will now transition to a senior leadership role in the private sector with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
